How WE Met:
A year and a half ago Todd and I stepped out of our box and did the whole bridal expo thing. We clearly remember a gentleman stopping by our booth and jokingly asked if its possible to just photograph the bride on their wedding day. He was insistent that not one would want to see photos of him, but that everyone would want to see photos of his super pretty, bride to be, Mary-Sue. (Jeff is definitely the joke-ster, and Mary-Sue is definitely crazy pretty!)
Skip ahead 6 months to our consultation with a Jeff and Mary-Sue who right away reminded us that Jeff was that weird guy who asked if we could just photograph the bride on their wedding day:) Right away we knew we loved them both: Jeff and Mary-Sue are kind and funny and the kind of people you just want to be around.
The Monona Terrace:
Their entire wedding, which was at The Monona Terrace downtown Madison, was created by Jeff and Mary-Sue to show their love and care for all of their friends and family who attended their wedding. Their goal was for everyone to have a fun time at their wedding so they mixed things up by having a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, then their ceremony, and then their highlight for the evening: The Gomer’s ! Which if you don’t know, The Gomer’s a band that does karaoke. Captain hats were worn, songs were sung (mostly by Jeff:) ) air and real guitars were played, and people danced like they had never danced before. Good stuff!
